Second Lieutenant Han Sang-Yeol (Siwan) leads his platoon during the Korean War. He carries emotional scars and pain within. He then meets children from a choir. The child have lost everything in the war. Second Lieutenant Han Sang-Yeol is deeply moved by the children and tries to protect to them. 

Filming began May 18, 2015 at Aqua Studio at Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. The first scene filmed involved a flash back scene of Second Lieutenant Han Sang-Yeol’s (Siwan) past.

Filming finished September 26, 2015 at Deoksan Port in Samcheok, South Korea. The last scene filmed was of Second Lieutenant Han Sang-Yeol (Siwan) and Galgori (Lee Hee-Joon) who threatens Han Sang-Yeol and the children.
